Senior Electrical Engineer
Avion Solutions is seeking candidates for Electrical Engineer to support rotary wing (HH-60G, UH-1N and TH-1H) aircraft development and sustainment.
Required Experience Description: Provide engineering, technical, and analytical support and coordinate as necessary with other organizations with respect to design, development, and integration of complex military electrical and/or electronic systems; plus experience in overseeing design and development of hardware projects.
Additionally, experience in one or more of the following disciplines are required: electronic warfare; navigation; command, control, and communications; avionics; data and information processing, or design engineering. Must be able to work independently to perform complicated and technical support tasks. Minimum of two years of experience with multiple systems engineering disciplines and progressive experience in complex military electrical and/or electronic systems such as aircraft power distribution systems, microprocessor-based systems, real-time networks, computer graphics, and analog and digital electronics. Experience in with HH-60G, UH-1N and TH-1H aircraft preferred. Required
Qualifications:
Master's degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 18 years relevant experience. A minimum of four (4) years of any experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects. Experience and degree requirements must be in a field relevant to their functional area. The candidate must possess strong communication and technical writing skills. The candidate must be proficient in the Microsoft (MS) Office® Suite, to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project. Ability to obtain/retain DoD Secret security clearance is required. Travel up to 25% is required.
