The primary responsibility of this position is to cold call potential customers and pre-qualify for our inside sales team.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Market the company to prospects via phone and email using a targeted script
- Pre-qualify leads and set appointments for our inside sales team
- Generally explain company products/services and answer questions
- Conduct accurate data entry and updates in the company database
- Manage a personal pipeline and schedule timely follow-up tasks
- Route incoming calls from our sales line to the proper department
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- SalesForce.com experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Motivated to exceed monthly performance goals
- Able to prioritize tasks and manage time wisely
- Prior lead generation or telemarketing experience is preferred but not required
