The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Operations Manager will oversee all functions of our Human Resources department and provide support to the HR Generalists.
- The Human Resources Operations Manager's responsibilities include reviewing and recommending budgets, implementing new company polices and maintaining internal HR systems.
- Ensures our HR initiatives are cost-effective, run smoothly and contribute to a healthy work environment.
- Must have proven work experience in HR Operations.
- Extensive knowledge of employment policies and procedures, labor law and HRIS is required.
- The ability to design clear and fair company policies, compensation and benefits packages, and the ability to communicate them to our employees.
- Demonstrated supervisory, training and team management skills are essential to this position.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively and professionally with GPA staff on all levels as well as customers and the general public is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skill are required as is the ability to handle confidential information.
Requirements:
- Four-year college degree in in Human Resource Management, Business Management or related field is required.
- Five years' experience in Human Resources preferred.
- SHRM Certification a plus.
- Two years supervisory experience required.
- Must meet the criteria for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- Valid state driver's license required.
