Palmetto Community Action Partnership is a Community Action Agency (CAA). Community Action Agencies are private non-profit organizations that were created to combat poverty by fostering self-sufficiency among low-income and working families. We are seeking the ideal candidate to provide prescreening and complete applications for individuals desiring services for the programs provided to low-income residents of Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Determine client eligibility and complete applications
• Compiles and maintain record files for accuracy.
• Accurately enters and maintains documentation through computerized record keeping.
• Provide clerical support.
• Maintain and submit a weekly work log.
Required Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of an Assoc. degree in Human Services, &/or Social Services.
• At least two years of Customer Service experience is required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Have the ability to work in a fast pace, stressful environment.
• Must be a team player and encompass strong attention to detail.
