Santa Fe College, ranked as one of the nation’s top state colleges, invites applications and nominations for the Provost position. The College seeks a collaborative, visionary, and inspirational leader with a proven record of success in strategic academic program planning and delivery to meet current and emerging educational needs; academic excellence, student success and college completion; innovative and/or transformational initiatives; and collegial relationships and partnerships with internal and external constituents who support Santa Fe’s mission.

Serving students at the Northwest Campus and 6 educational centers, Santa Fe is one of the highest-performing institutions among the 28 colleges that comprise the Florida College System.

The Provost serves as the Chief Academic Officer of the College providing leadership, strategic direction, and unwavering support to the academic enterprise and ensuring that the College maintains the highest standards of academic excellence and quality while focused on student success. The Provost has a strong commitment to academic freedom, shared governance and support for faculty and staff.

The next Provost is expected to have a clear understanding of the evolving nature of higher education and the ability to lead a very talented and committed faculty, staff, and administrative team who will help shape Santa Fe’s academic vision and student experience for the future.

Successful candidates will possess:

• A Doctorate degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Five years of progressively responsible academic administrative experience in higher education.
• Five years of teaching experience at the collegiate level.
