The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking applications for a Development Assistant, Annual Giving for the Department of Development. This is a full-time, permanent staff position. 

Primary Purpose of Position: The Annual Giving Assistant will support the Annual Giving team in soliciting alumni, students, parents, and friends to enhance philanthropic support. This position is responsible for managing solicitation and stewardship text campaigns, supporting the review of annual fund data, overseeing undergraduate and graduate class gift campaigns, assisting with crowdfunding campaigns, and leading student components of giving days such as #NinerNationGives and Giving Tuesday. The role also involves creating campaign communications, conducting post-campaign analysis, and partnering with the Alumni Engagement team on student engagement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Essential Job Duties: Design and executing strategies to effectively solicit and steward Annual Fund donors through text messaging. Assist the annual giving team with donor centric relationship building. Manage and grow the class giving program. Lead student programming during the University’s giving day, #NinerNationGives, as well as other micro-campaigns such as Giving Tuesday. Lead crowdfunding campaigns alongside other members of the Annual Giving team.

Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
